On a warm June evening, the River Walk Garden Club gathered at Pirate’s Cove Restaurant in Chesapeake, VA to close out another successful year and welcome the newly installed board for the upcoming season. With the nautical charm of Pirate’s Cove as our backdrop and the scent of fresh seafood in the air, members enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, gratitude, and celebration.
The banquet was a chance to reflect on a year of inspiring programs, community connection, and garden club camaraderie. Highlights from the past season were shared, and heartfelt thanks were extended to our outgoing board members for their dedication and leadership.
The installation ceremony honored the incoming board, whose enthusiasm and vision promise another vibrant year ahead. As each new officer was introduced, the room filled with applause and anticipation for what’s to come.
