September 2021 Meeting

To kick off an amazing new year of garden club activities, our September 2021 consisted of a plant exchange and Ice Cream Social!

October 2021 Meeting

This month's meeting we were educated on the proper care of feeding birds in the wintertime by the knowledgeable folks at Wild Birds Unlimited in Chesapeake VA.

November 2021 Meeting

The November 2021 presenter was Meg French who shared some of her vast expertise giving a very informative and much needed presentation on "Native & Deer Resistant Plants for the Residential Garden."

February 2022 Meeting

Fairfield flowers were our guest speaker for our February meeting. They shared with us their expertise on how to make beautiful floral arrangements incorporating using fresh fruits and vegetables.

May 2022 Meeting

At the May meeting our guest speaker was a local Girl Scout from Troop 585 who shared with us her passion for bats. As her Silver Award project she is building and installing bat boxes around the River Walk Garden Club and surrounding areas. 

We finished the meeting with our garden art project.
